We at Westchester Animal Hospital believe in serving you, your pet and our community. We believe in providing high-quality care in a modern, clean environment. We take pride not only in our wide range of services but also in our desire to respond to the needs of pets and people.

We value the trust you place in us. That is why we pledge ourselves to an ambitious program of continuing education to constantly develop new skills and to make available to you the latest developments in pet care. Always open to new and more effective techniques, we also believe in keeping you informed about your pet’s condition, about the latest advances in veterinary medicine and about general information to help you care for and enjoy your pet.

First Visit
When bringing your pet for a checkup, remember it may be a little uneasy about new people and animals. This is one of the reasons we ask that you restrain your pet before coming into the hospital. We suggest animals be placed on a leash or in a pet carrier before entering the waiting room. Your pet and others in the waiting area will appreciate the extra care.

Philosophy of Practice
The primary purpose of this practice, clinically speaking, is to provide the very highest quality medical and surgical care to our patients and to offer the best possible service to our clients.

We endeavor to treat each pet brought to us with the same attitude we would have if the pet were our own. We want to serve clients who desire this type of service.

As long as we and our staff seek excellence in providing service and accept nothing less, we feel we have accomplished our purpose.

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment, but walk-ins are welcome. Like humans, pets do not want to synchronize their illnesses with our appointment book, and surgical procedures sometimes take longer than planned, so an occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time, and a phone call is appreciated by all if an appointment needs to be rescheduled.
